Nikhil, who belonged to a Punjabi background, had not a very smooth academic path in his initial years. Even so, he completed his 12th grade and further pursued Hotel Management at the Rizvi Institute of Management Studies and Research in Mumbai.

Nikhil shifted to the aviation sector in 2007 and got employed in Qatar Airways. He worked as a cabin crew member for six years in Doha, Qatar, and shifted to Mumbai after that. While he tried to become an actor again after returning, he encountered a series of challenges. In 2012, he lost his father in December, and taking on his father's business chores became his responsibility. That ultimately drove him towards YouTube.

Nikhil's professional life turned for the worse after his return from Qatar. He encountered a number of problems in his business endeavors. But after his father's death, he started working with the family business and discovered a new route on YouTube. His career on the platform has been filled with milestones, with the highlight being over 100,000 subscribers in 2016 and millions of subscribers and views.

In 2017, Nikhil participated in the YouTube Fanfest in Mumbai, where he performed on stage with a borrowed Harley Davidson. Aside from motovlogging, Nikhil has his own clothing line, LabelMN, and also has a number of vehicles, such as motorcycles Tiger Triumph XCA and KTM Duke 390, plus an Audi A4 and Maruti Suzuki Swift 2008 VXi.

YouTube Journey

Nikhil began his YouTube career in July 2013, inspired by his interest in motorcycles. He began with vlogs and over time evolved into moto vlogging, balancing his passion for bikes and travelling. His big break came with a Leh/Ladakh vlog which helped him gain a substantial number of subscribers. His professional life took a turn when he released the popular "K2K" (Kanyakumari to Kashmir) video, where he rode a KTM Duke 390 from the farthest point in India.

With his commitment and high-quality content, Nikhil's channel, "Mumbiker Nikhil," became extremely popular. He expanded his content and also included travel vlogs, cycling adventures, and motivational content. Nikhil interacted with his audience actively and worked with other YouTubers, hence increasing his audience even further.

Nikhil Sharma wedded Shanice Shreshtha on January 12, 2021, in Goa, India. Nikhil had previously dated Shanice, a vlogging YouTuber herself who appears on his channel's "Featured Channels" page. Nikhil, son of Anil Brijlal Kumar Sharma and Sitara Sharma, has a younger sister who is a graphics designer for Red Chillies Entertainment, an Indian film distribution business.

Nikhil Sharma has also been awarded for his thought-provoking vlogging and moto vlogging. He was shortlisted under the vlog category at the Creators United Awards in 2023.
